Cub Scouts - Pack 8

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Since 1930, Cub Scouting has offered fun with a purpose to millions of American boys.  Starting this fall, however, Cub Scouting is now open to boys AND girls!

Thanks to many volunteers, Cub Scouts develop values, learn skills, make friends, strengthen family relationships – and have a great time in the process! Here in Peterborough, Pack 8 was first chartered in March 1941 and we’re happy to say the tradition continues today! Regular Den and Pack meetings are held on Mondays in the upper hall of the Peterborough Town House starting at 6:30pm.

The Cub Scouting program is a year-round program that youth can join at any time during the year. It’s flexible enough to work with other programs in which youth also participate. To learn more about Scouting, visit the Daniel Webster Council website at www.nhscouting.org or to see pictures of all the fun activities of Pack 8, Like Cub Scout Pack 8 – Peterborough, NH on Facebook.

Registration is $70 for Lions (Kindergarten); $85 for Tigers (1st grade), Wolves (2nd grade), Bears (3rd grade), and Webelos (4th grade).  Arrow of Light (5th grade) registration is $85 for new Scouts and $60 for Scouts returning to Pack 8.  The registration fee includes a handbook, neckerchief, neckerchief slide, a Pinewood Derby car kit, and a one-year subscription to Boy’s Life magazine.  (Lions do not wear neckerchiefs or slides.)  Other event fees and uniform costs may apply. For more information, please call Pack 8 Cubmaster, Tim Theberge (978) 869-8356 or timtheberge@gmail.com, or stop by the Peterborough Recreation Department where applications are available.

We will also have a registration table at the PES Open House on Thursday Sept. 27th. from 6:00 - 7:15pm.  We hope we'll see you then!
