Lacrosse Summer Program for Youth

This group is getting together to do weekly skill building and have some small sided play sessions on Thursdays, starting July 25th, 5:30 to 6:30pm.  The goal of these sessions are to build stick skills and have fun!!

Players are highly encouraged to bring a friend (new to lacrosse) to these free sessions.  Returning players, bring your full gear.  There may be work that only requires a stick and mouthpiece.  New players?  Bring a mouthguard and a stick if you have it.  If not, we have sticks you can borrow.

This clinic series will wrap up on August 29th.

The sessions will be held on Russell Fields which is next to the skate park at Adams.

Note from Terry Mcnamara...Lacrosse coordinator:
"As Fall approaches I encourage all of our young athletes to be well rounded and be MULTIPLE sport athletes in their respective seasons to prevent physical and mental burnout.  Sign up for Soccer, Football, Hockey, Cross Country, etc.  There are Fall and Winter lax club opportunities but I would encourage those to be secondary to the in-season sports.  Your child will be better at lax by playing other sports and less likely to get injured overall."
