Enjoy viewing the 2020 modified version of Holiday Trees in Peterborough: six themed trees on display throughout December on the front lawn of the Peterborough Community Center, 25 Elm Street.

A small number of past contributors to Holiday Trees in Peterborough have set up our trees outside, to spread some COVID-safe holiday cheer and serve as a colorful stop on the Southern NH Tour of Lights.  A map of all the participating light displays in the Tour of Lights will be posted on Dec. 9th here.

Trees will be on display from Dec. 4th until shortly after Christmas.

2020, Not Your Gnome-al Christmas

Our seven- foot tree is all decked out in classic Christmas colors to make up a figure of a Christmas gnome.  While this Christmas is certainly not “gnome-al,” we wish you all a joyful holiday!

The weeping willow’s drooping branches have long symbolized sadness.  Yet, it is strong and flexible, bending to strong winds.  Our hope is we will stand upright after this storm of COVID-19 passes.

Our family gathered the items (minus the ribbon, lights, and fruit) for this tree along many different walks as we visited friends’ properties.  We are remembering to appreciate the beautiful natural world we live in, in this COVID holiday season and every day.
